Say what we don't know
We describe things by what they are, cite sources you can check yourself, and note study limitations. We don't make disease claims — not out of caution, but because the evidence doesn't support them.
About
PTX Labs works on supplements and resources for toxin exposure. We're based in New York, and our programs are in research.
The company began with a frustration rather than a product. Between us we had spent years reading exposure research, and the gap between what the literature carefully said and what supplement marketing loudly claimed had become impossible to ignore.
So the brief was simple: work on a small number of things properly, publish what we find whether it flatters us or not, and write about the science in a way that respects how much of it is still unsettled.
If that means saying "we don't know" more often than our competitors do, we can live with that. It has kept our scope tight and our timelines longer than we'd like. We think that's the right way round.
How we work
Operational, checkable and fairly boring — which is rather the point.
We describe things by what they are, cite sources you can check yourself, and note study limitations. We don't make disease claims — not out of caution, but because the evidence doesn't support them.
When our programs produce findings, they go up whether or not they support the direction we were hoping to take.
Whatever we eventually release will list every active ingredient at its actual dose. No proprietary blends, no hiding a token amount behind a long Latin name.
Nothing carries our name until an external laboratory we don't own has checked it.
Status
We're pre-product. Both programs are in research, and we haven't announced a release date because we don't have one yet.
Tracking published work on exposure and immune health, and writing up what it does and doesn't establish.
Working through candidate ingredients and doses for both programs.
External laboratory verification before anything carries our name.
No date announced.
Where to find us
We're a remote-first team based in New York.
Please note. PTX Labs does not currently sell any product. Any future products will be dietary supplements, which are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
